As promised, here is my 10 weeks belly! (I'm going to be huge, but I guess that's because there are 2 in there.) :)

Our Infertility Journey

May 2005 - March 2006: TTC Naturally
March 2006: HSG performed, suspected blocked tube
June 2006: Referred to Reproductive Endocrinologist
July 2006: Laproscopic Surgery to unblock tube. Diagnosed with endometriosis
August 2006: Intra-uterine Insemination
September 2006: Pregnant, but miscarried at 7 weeks
December 2006: 2nd IUI and got pregnant again...miscarried at 6 weeks
April 2007: First IVF, transferred one perfect PGD Blast...not pregnant
August 2007: 2nd IVF, transferred 2 grade "a" blasts...not pregnant
January 2008: New RE
February - June 2008: More unsuccessful IUI's.
June 2008: Surgery to remove endometriosis
September 2008: 3rd IVF Transferred 3 high quality blasts and froze one...not pregnant
November 2008: Doppler blood flow ultrasound - everything looked great
December 1, 2008: Phone Consult with CCRM (Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine)

Infertility Lingo

Things people have said to me that you should NEVER say to someone who is "baby challenged."

"Something must've been wrong with the baby, so it's better that it died now" (I don't even have a response for this one....except for "you're an idiot")
"At least the miscarriage happened early before you got attached to the baby" (Never, under any circumstances, say this to someone who has had a miscarriage...without expecting to get the crap beat out of you)
"We got pregnant on the first try" (Why would you say that to someone who has been trying for years? It's just mean and you deserve to be punched in the face)
"Biology does not make a mother" (Really? I had no idea..thank God you told me.)
"My friend's aunt's dog's walker tried for like 20 years and finally got pregnant once she stopped trying" (Good for her.)
"Once you adopt, you'll get pregnant" (I would not be adopting so I could get pregnant, I would adopt because I wanted to start our family)
"Get drunk and have some fun" (Tried this, didn't work, so stop suggesting it.)
"Stop thinking about it so much" (Seriously? How can anyone think this is acceptable to say to someone who lives and breathes trying to have a baby?)
"You should go on a vacation" (Uummm....tried this too....didn't work)
"God just doesn't think it's the right time" (I believe in God and we have definitely had our fair share of conversations about this stuff. I believe everything happens for a reason, but saying this to someone makes them feel like God thinks they will be a terrible parent....never say it...ever.)
